Finished orientation today and did work flow training. Now sitting back at the house in st Louis.

Made my delv last night. Had 3 hours left to run. Guess what still waiting for a load in sc. And if I'm sitting here at noon my dbl is getting a call and my ### is going home. I'm 120 miles from the house.

Well I got a verbal hire yesterday. First post because I lurked to research for last couple weeks. Decided SNI was who I really wanted to go back to. Was with them back in 98 (my first truck was a cabover #4441). Had an issue in 2001 and took a desk job for 10 years then got laid off. Started driving for United Van Lines and this HHG thing is killing me. You think you have problems with shippers and receivers? Try live customers who whine about everything and want to claim damages that were done previously or ones they did within their 6 month report time.
Supposed to start orientation the 12th but have to get a clearance form from my Dr who I can't see til Wed. Have to fax that to the Med Team but they said it could take them 2 days. I might call an hour after and ask them to put a rush on it so I can still have my start date of the 12th. My DOT card is fresh but I don't have the long form so I guess I'll have to redo that. Need to redo my HazMat too since I didn't need that I let it lapse.
I see some things have changed and some things have not. Is this WF something new they are switching over too for company drivers? Sounds like the QC has changed big time.
Thought I might need to brush up on some things (like PTI the SNI way) but was told the orientation doesn't just hand you over to the wolves. A little apprehensive and nervous but that is to be expected. Low blood pressure and low heart rate but you know how nerves boosts that up. -
Well no freight in sc so I'm dragging my trailer to charlotte and going home. Such a sad day.

looks to me like they are calling you in. PU and DP both in GB. Did you do something bad? Either that or they are giving you a new truck.

Where are you getting "10 min to get there"?
(nevermind. I see now. Ten minutes to drive from Green Bay to Green Bay) lol
Curious though. Why is TN to NC still on your Pre assigned? I just went to WF training yesterday. They told us that once you make it active, it moves from the preassigned to the active tab. Then when you move the next preassigned to active, the trip you just completed moves to the history tab. -
Wow. Qualcomms have come a long way. The last one I used had a 4 line screen with green font.

My wf is fckd up and I just stopped by my dbl and he got po throw his head set and walked away. He's calling it dumb flow.
