    I would have drove it any way. It's $$$ lol

    How would that have worked when you got there? Drive on property, confirm arrive, start work, end work, etc. Drive out gate then back in, confirm arrive... lol

    spent over four hours in dallas going.like 90mi. by the way them dummies.were running into each other you would think there was a foot of.snow on the road not a fine mist rain.

    picked up my heavy axx campbels soup load. i am 240 mi away from home, all on two lane tx back roads in a rain and i have 4.5 hrs left. anyone want to place some bets?

    Just log it Off Duty Driving if you don't make it since you are an IC

    you cant run.off duty driving pulling a trailer. plus u have to go back to where you started off.duty.driving before you can go back on duty

    Fuel mileage don't matter when you're going home.

    That was my philosophy when I was an O/O.

    Of course fuel was still around $1/gal back then.

    Hard to believe 8-10 years ago fuel was that cheap.

    I remember grandpa complaining when it spiked in the 70s.

    I did hear talk in the office about a week ago mentioning that we were about to get nailed with a ton of freight coming out of NC. But dead head 1000 miles to GB? Doubtful LOL
