    Anybody know of any freight in this lane going this direction ??? I have a customer that has freight Birmingham to Richmond that pays well but need something going down.

    It has been my experience, with a reefer trailer, that I can get much better rates, going that general direction, from eastern and northern NC than what I ever could from eastern and southern VA. It has always been worth a little deadhead for me to do it that way.

    Whats a decent rate ??? If I can't cover it, can anyone suggest a company or O/O that would be interested in freight northbound ... Birmingham to Richmond ??? (heavy)
