I will try my best. Went to military drill today, and explained I might be driving again. My peers want me to bring in my truck again, so to easy that it will be s company truck, do I can't bobtail like I did my last truck. A few frowns....
I didnt know it take so long to get hired. Its been a week total, but I was tol I would be called friday but nooooo call...... -
it may not be them it may be a problem getting your information verified....they were pretty much on the ball with me and had things squared away within a week.....but since i was the GM at the previous job, i couldn't verify my own employment lol......and also since i was the GM, the HR people under me weren't good enough either.....they had to contact my boss at corporate which took a little longer.....so it may just be a simple matter of getting all your info straightened out.....these folks don't do anything halfway and everything will be verified and checked and documented before you move forward so i wouldn't sweat about it just yet.....
and thanks for the line 5 info daniels....had no idea we could get it since mine stops at line 4 but i'll be getting it added you can believe that......apprently not too many guys on the elog know about it because none of them i've talked to have said a word......either that or they're keeping it their little secret lolTNspeedy Thanks this. -
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope it works out

i don't have the magtec in mine and i have no shortage of loads....longest i've sat since i've been in my own truck has been 2 hours waiting on something and 70% of the time i'm preplanned before i finish the one i'm on.....if you get a DM that sees you like to run, and you run hard and deliver on time...... he/she will keep you running.....they may take it easy on you to start but if that's the case, do what i did and sit down with him/her and tell them you need to roll and point to positive performance on your part and then your miles should improve.....the only thing not having a magtec is going to do will keep you from getting certain TYPES of loads....even with it being the slow time of year i'm still rolling and haven't been left sitting anywhere even without the magtec..... i've been standing there with the dm when he told the planner i was a strong runner and needed to roll......and roll i do lol....
leftdoorclosed Thanks this. -
That's exactly what I wanted to hear! My DM is Keith Watts, he has been keeping me rolling pretty good so far. I haven't waited on a load yet. Usually preplanned before I get one delivered. I am adamant about being on time or early. I have no interest in pulling high value loads, too many bs rules that go along with them and seems they require alot of nights in parking lots / warehouses with really early wake up calls.
I was starting to get into a rhythm and my DM asked if I wanted to volunteer to help on a local account in Orangeburg, SC. Hourly pay, 12 - 13 hour shifts, drop and hooks, 4 days on 2 days off for 6 weeks. Yeah right. I knew after the first night, not day shift and sitting for hours with 20 - 25 other drivers waiting on something to pull in a small, tight, dusty, pot hole infested, dirt lot that gig wasn't for me. I did two night shifts, was off two days and did two days shifts and pretty much told my DM when I was going back on the big road. lol I would get fed up waiting on loads and clock out after about 9 - 10 hours even tho your pay went on if you were running or sitting. It was pretty much a nightmare for me. -
Hey guys, how would you rate this company for a first time driver? (I'm going to CTDTS and saw they hire students)
