When my last truck was in the shop, I was given a loaner that had the passenger seat removed. At night the tanks would drain. Found the air line to the passenger seat was leaking slightly. They capped it off half assed. I folded it over and wrapped it in duct tape, then folded it over again and more tape. Sprayed it with water, no bubbles. Tanks help psi all night with engine off.

I've had to do redneck engineering on more than one seat airline.

Just another reason why baling wire and duct tape are both a trucker's and a redneck's best friend. :yes2557:

So no more rumors on that truck driver from last weekend. And guess it wasnt work flow related.

Actually, I just got off the phone with my father and there was a thing on the news back in Oregon about that and they said he was having marital problems.

ya well once upon a time when we had trucks with drivers in them i had to pay for a road service call because a driver was riding with his seat on the floor and cut the air line clean off and couldnt figure out a way to get it to stop. yes thebseat air line will drain air tanks faster thrn the compressor can fill them and no he wasnt a very bright driver

Actually got a load. I have to dead head 163 miles, drop the empty and pick up a loaded in long beach. Only problem is I don't have an empty because the Sears I was at wouldn't release any empties and p/u empty was taken from the task list on that load.

Shouldn't the support shift idiots be able to see that I don't have an empty, and therefore add a location and trailer to pickup on the load? If I have to drive somewhere else to pick up an empty then I should be paid for those miles, and it should have a p/u details of its own.

Filled out trailing unit request but that has never worked for me, also sent a message to support shift telling my situitation and what I wait done. I still can't get through to them on the phone so I'll sit here until they fix my ####! I'm really starting to get irritated...
