Plater1 made a good point -drivers job market. Go in person and speak to someone face to face. Telephone/email has their limitations on a hiring manager determining if a potential employee may be worthy of hiring. -
Anyone have anything to say about Key Energy? Good or bad?
-
Some have stated they don't pay very well but I really don't know.Ben Gunn Thanks this.

Key is a pretty good company. They don't pay the best but they keep their equipment well maintained. In the oilfield companies that pay really good hourly wages are usually small and sometimes that extra two or three dollars an hour comes out of the maintenance budget.
Ben Gunn Thanks this. -

Where the heck are all you west Texas folks living? My wife spoke with 10 apartment complexes and they all had waiting lists. I wouldn't mind staying in a hotel for a couple months until we find an apartment, but I can't find any hotels with vacancies. It looks like Odessa/Midland is becoming the next Williston, ND - plenty of work, but nowhere to live.
We have a 70 pound dog, which definitely complicates things for us. If push came to shove, we might have to get rid of her. However it's kind of a moot point since there don't seem to be any available houses or apartments for rent. -

In 1970's some oil companies paid $13 and the Price of oil was around $30. Today Crude oil is near $100 and some oil companies pay $15 and higher. WOWHeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this.
