I have a Coleman 60qt cooler and love it! I've had really good luck with the Coleman cooler for many many years of trucking. I've had other 12v coolers in the past and most don't cool very well due to the lack of insulation mostly.
I bought mine at Bass Pro Shop

I have a Koolatron KCR40, and I love it. It's around $200 at a truck stop. Its got a lot of room inside, so I can really stock up. It has 3 settings-min, mid, max. Works well in all but the hottest conditions (once I was stuck in Laredo in 110 degree temperatures, and it wasn't as cold as I would like it.) I've had it for over a year. Only problem I had was a melted plug once. When I called to order a new plug, they said they would send me one for free. I asked for an extra just in case, but I've never had to use it. I suspect the fault was with the outlet, not the plug.

I have a Coleman, bought it well over a year and half ago.
Knock on simulated wood grain, have had no problems.
I keep it on floor on bunk, picks up a/c air flow from lower duct.
If not careful will freeze my vegggies, or sodas get a little icey.
It came with a ac adapter, which is good for home or hotels.
When at home I take it in, clean it, let it rest.
I freeze a gallon of water, and my lunch meats prior to going out.
Precool it before leaving. Good to go.
Best 80 bucks I spent.cpassey Thanks this. -
I have a Waeco. I've had it for 6 years its been running the entire time except for the 4-5 weeks I've taken off in that time. Even if I am going to have a 3 or 4 day weekend I leave it on. It will freeze water bottles solid in the summer time with the truck off sitting in the sun!!! If you want it to that is. When it was about 2 years old I had it in my pov when we were rearended by a tractor-trailer. Everything inside it was broken but it is still working. If it ever quits I will buy another.

I looked at this and it is very nice. Cost $545. for the CF35 model...

IMO its worth it. The first time I used mine I turned it down too low and it froze everything solid. I would not worrie about leaving milk in it over the weekend and drink it on monday. Mine has a low voltage cut-off so it wont kill the batteries but its always been cold even if it sits for a few days and I've never had trouble with the truck starting.
I have a smaller 1 but I dont recall the number off hand. I have a day cab W900 and it fits between the seats. -
I have a coleman 40 quart as well.
Maybe it is just my batteries, but the low voltage safety shutoff kicks the power off after about 8-10 hours with the 12v fridge/cooler running.
But I would never give it up. Something like $7 gets me a two year extended warranty from walmart.
I pack some lunch meat, some bagged salad and dressing. I like my water cold so that goes in there as well.

Thats 1 of the bennifits of a refridgerator like the waco over the thermal electric coolers. They run non stop, the fridge runs for a moment and shuts off for awhile.
