you know, when DRL's (daytime running lights) first hit the market, older drivers said "that's just plain stupid, what are you blind that you can't see oncoming traffic". Today, they are pretty much standard on every class of vehicle, are shown to reduce accidents and make the roads safer. T
That said, to each their own -
Oh no, well said. In stretches of NEVADA, its the law...lights on even in daytime. I always thought it was stupid UNTIL I "thought" the heat rising off the asphalt was just heat....ohno...it was traffic coming from a distance. Certain stretches the signs say."Nevada State Law - Headlights on for next 42miles".

I run that stretch plenty,1 in 75-100 trucks have their lights on.
Care to guess who ?
If Nevada would like to offer replacements bulbs I'll gladly burn the beams,
I dont waste "wear items" I have to pay for.
Wargames Thanks this. -
I have never understood what people think they gain by running there fog lights all the time. But these are usually the same geniuses who have 8+ loading lights on all the time as well. They like to blind you coming and going.
