Uhh, can you be a bit more specific? What exactly happened?

But more importantly, if it is truly a non-preventable, then it won't be a problem. I have a non-preventable on my DAC, from when some joker caved in the grille on my truck, and it has not caused me any problems.

Its not a licenced motor vehicle.. I wouldn't see a prob with it. Definately not going to effect your CDL. So you hit something with a forklift? I turned one over. Didn't effect me in th eleast.

Sounds to me like you have a real goober for a super.

I doubt very seriously whether that will see the light of day on a DAC.

But it also sounds like they are looking for a reason, to boot you out the door. And are starting the file.

I maybe wrong, but I don't see how this can be reported anywhere outside the company you work for. From what I understand about a fork lift license it's more about OSHA regulations then anything else. If you get hurt, or hurt someone else they need show proof that you had proper training in the operation of that equipment. This has nothing to do with your CDL.

sounds like you maybe semi casual, conway will do this just to have in your file just in case the two of you don't see eye to eye and they choose to terminate you.Generally it takes 3 or 4 incidents.

Your supervisor needs to get laid. Forklift is not a license vehicle. You get a card to prove you were trained, like the one guy said OSHA comes around oh and for insurance reasons if you did flip, wreck, or anything else. That way you can't say you were never trained and have a lawsuit. It is a paperwork thing. Your forklift training card and 50 cents will get you a small cup of coffee. I ran the dang vacuum into the wall as I was pulling it today is that a non-preventable accident or preventable will it go on my CDL?:biggrin_25523:

Seriously like some said he is building a file because he doesn't like you, tired of covering for you and starting to cover his own butt, or he is just screwing around with you and he doesn't know to tell you later he was just doing that. One I just thought of he, thinks that a forklift is a license vehicle because the company says you have to have a license to drive it, a OSHA card is what they mean by license and just thinks there is a license somewhere.:biggrin_2556: They could keep you from driving one of their trucks if you have a certain accident. That I could see. If it wasn't for OSHA and insurance you wouldn't even get a card to drive a forklift.

I hope there isn't a hidden camera I ran into the wall with my shoulder the other day. If they do I'm telling them the ground moved and shifted me towards the door frame.:biggrin_2559:
Where I last worked in a manufacturing plant we had a guy run a fork through an I-Beam building support. I'm talking 4 or 5 inch gap.

People have to use common sense when turning in accidents this one would not be one of them.
You know in the military a guy with a military pickup truck backed up and all he did was flake off a piece of paint from the roll-up door frame and they got him with destruction of government property. That was all they needed to get him out the gate. If anyone else would have done that all that would have been said was can't you drive. We had a girl hit and damaged a pickup truck hitting a yellow pole protecting a hydrant. Nothing was done because she said it was not a common vehicle, because you still don't need special training your boss fills out a form and the give you a general purpose license. She stated it wasn't a common vehicle for her because she would not buy one because of that and other things that is why she drove small cars. I wonder if being a girl had anything to do with it.
