Things are still so so with me. Not sure what I'm doing next. Not sure if OTR will work out or not. Know that 21the days out wont be what mama and the kids want. We shall see what the next few weeks hold. Will be making a decision by the end of the month...

I just did mine Monday in SC...here's how it went:

Milk crate with various weights in it. First 25 pounds, then 50, then 75.

First motion has you lift a 25 from a height that puts your elbows at a 90 degree angle, turning to one side, and using correct motion (no twisting), place it on the floor, then return to shelf. 5 reps at 25, 5 at 50, 3 at 75.

Next, moving said crate from the previous height to another level above your head, adjusted to your height. Reps were 5, 5, and 3 if I recall.

Next, carrying said crate at waist-height, walk a distance of about 53 feet (ours was split into 26-foot lengths). Reps were 3, 3, and 2.

Before all this, your BP is taken along with your heart rate.

The PT will also run through a brief series of moves, such as having you hold your hands, wrists, feet, and ankles in various positions as the PT applies opposing pressure.

Then, after all this, they did our physical in the same building.

I'm 51 years old, 5'6" and 257. I got through it. Not by a hell of a lot, but I got through it. You will too!

    Best of luck!

    #### tired. Picked up a 6 drop load of furniture out of Wilmer yesterday which was already behind schedule and I managed to make up everything with a real early start this morning after stopping in to visit my mom in Arkansas last night. Got to roll through the Tennessee back roads up to Paris and then over to Clarksville (one in the real boondocks) and helped to unload about 4/5 of the trailer over the three stops. Sitting in Nashville now with another drop here in the morning and the final two in Knoxville.

At least everything was pretty light, none of those HON big ###, heavy pieces:) Finished off the furniture and picked up a load in Vonore, TN delivering in the morning just south of Atlanta. Only got about 5 hours to work with tomorrow so should be a relatively easy day.

Picked up a HD tv the other day after talking to another Crete driver who said he got lots of channels just from using the antennae hook up for the cb. I kind of went overboard I think and got a 32" one which won't fit on the table but making due with my makeshift cooler/tv table. Getting about 35-38 channels each place and really clear pictures, so glad I made the investment.

I only had a 19 in mine. You can get good channels when things are all lined up. Better then the old style... need to be in city area types of places. ________

Did he say how he hooked it up to the cb antenna? I have a Prostar and hooked mine to the wall outlet. It does a'ight most of the times but when a truck rolls by it always cuts out and loses signal.:biggrin_25511:

I just plugged mine into the wall outlet and haven't had any problems. Only got 8 channels last night but wasn't in a city area so guess going to be good and bad days.

Well stuck down in Atlanta area again with the old "slow freight" message. I have only 3 hours available to run but really would like to get out of podunk Fairburn to get a shower tonight. Still got until 1800 so hopefully something will turn up.
