From info I got at Melton's HQ today, they WILL be doing hair folicle testing in the near future. Apparently there were some employees that got caught with dirty wee-wee... So they're ramping up testing to exclude persons still trying to beat the system.

They were also supposed to gave a sniffer dog at the terminal today...

BTW, I washed out for that standing on one leg test... Oh well...

At least I can get tested anytime, in any fashion and pass. :biggrin_25523:

    No bad feelings.

    Good ol' Pro Tec.

For future loads there, you CAN request them to load suicide. Most places have the capability to unload either way. Sure, some of them can only do suicide or only shotgun...but most can do either, seeing as the crane is on a swivel ;). I just got one there friday and delivered in Talladega..no questions asked about why i was loaded suicide :)

Those of you at Melton now, what kind of miles are you averaging on you pay checks? I was told 2200-2500, but that is recruiter talk.

When I drove there, I usually had more than enough time to get to the consignee. Sometimes I had a just in time load and it was close. My DM was more than willing to reschedule a delivery. Just stay in contact with them and don't mess around. I never had a service failure.

    trailertrashtrucker Thanks this.

What he said. I have never been late to a p/u or delivery. I have had more than enough time, but if I would be cutting it close, my dm rescheduled...although most places receive you whenever you get there...

and for you Iraq...I've been averaging about 2000, but winter is slower. Last summer I'd say I averaged about 2500-2800

    trailertrashtrucker Thanks this.

thank you guy's for the info looking into Melton only problem is looks like they dont take driver's right out of school I'd much rather get hired with melton and stay with melton rather then go with a "other " carrier so we'l see they got a terminal bout 30 miles from my house

Yeah, they require 3 months experience I think. Are you going to a CDL school, or an actual college school?
