I have a Question? I'm getting ready to get my CDL license. USA Trucking is paying for my classes. I heard (through gossip) that after you get out of school and go to work for them they lease you the truck. Has anyone else heard of this? :biggrin_25526:

I assume they have a lease program most big companies do. Although most of them are a bad deal from what I can tell. I would strongly advise not leasing anything without a lot of research and get some experience first.

I definately don't want to lease a truck. I just wanted to know if they do before I leave for the school in Indiana. Someone told my mom that they send you to school and then try to lease you a truck. I do believe that she is incorrect.

The key word is " try". They try to get you to lease a truck
because it takes the main responcibility of the truck off
them and puts it right in your lap. Most leases are ONLY
good for the company doing the lease.....
DO NOT LEASE UNTIL YOU HAVE ENOUGH
EXPIERENCE TO FULLY THE WHAT IS GOING ON.
