Yes, I am a member for 2 years. If you are really "on your own" you can get National account tire pricing through OOIDA which I did one day at a TA and save about 4 years worth of dues. There are other good benefits on top of supporting an organization that supports my interests. Large carriers, shippers, safety groups, and every other group has their voice in DC so I feel like paying dues to OOIDA is like a very cheap insurance policy to make sure my "special interest group" has a fighting chance too.
