I ran otr for several months and in the last month or so I switched to the Western Region. They do get me home but so far I am home on my requested day only 50% of the time. Sometimes 2-3 days late or 2-3 days early. I have picked up in Chico at Smuckers and go to Puyallup,Wa when I come out of the house. PU in Sacramento sometimes also. Have only been through Redding not on my first day out only once. My last home time was a deadhead from Portland (400 mi). That sucks because you drive most of the day and don't get paid.DocRox Thanks this.

Wait... did I read this correctly? You don't get paid for deadhead?? -
you get paid for D.H.....just not D.H. home
-
You get paid to deadhead to go pick up a load, but not to drive home empty............

Ahh, ok... got it. Well, either way, 400mile DH sucks.
