I find it interesting that out of all the posts here, you chose mine as the one to quote and then tried to insult me. Interesting...

I'm happy that you're an O/O now and happy.

If you know business then you know that there is no difference between o/o or l/p. There is nothing in the contract that prevents me from paying off the truck and leaving or turning the truck in and purchasing another from a third party. The truck and business are separate entities with their own contracts.

Many businesses lease their equipment rather than purchasing it. When I decided to do a lease-purchase with Roehl I did a lot of homework and decided that this was the best option for my situation. I wouldn't recommend it for just anyone, nor is it the best way to go. What I am saying is that there isn't really a huge difference. My business is a business and the IRS still expects me to pay my self employment tax like any other business.

I thought we had it off the tracks with Lambchop, Charlie Horse, Sherry Lewis and the "Song that never ends," but alas I was wrong. It just keeps coming back, so let's all tune in in a hour, a day, or a week for "As the Roehl Thread Turns."
