Things are not slowing down here.... I deliver 8x20 treaters to well sites and we have companies that want one treater a day... (a treater costs between 45-50 grand and we deliver between 3-5 a day)... Power fuels just bought 500 new trucks and are desperate for drivers... But ur application will never see the light if day unless u are here to hand it to them. The get 800 apps a week from people who don't even live anywhere near here... They have some housing but it's just
for drivers not the whole family... Best way to get hired is drive up here... Walmart outlawed any campers in there parking lot for more then 6 hours... They also hired security 24/7 ...... -
Unless u own your own truck they want u over 21... VERIFIABLE... 2 years driving experience background and driving record checks... The driving check got back 3-5 years. Some companies go back 7 or 10. If u are a new driver u will wreck up here or kill someone... There was a water truck driver... 23yr old 5 months Exp tried to beat a train and lost... Derailed the train... Another new truck driver killed a man in a pickup when his cell phone was more important then the stop sign he
blew... And no farm driving experience does NOT count as 2 years driving experience.AC22 Thanks this. -
They have 1 and 2 bedroom apts with homes and town homes on the way in the summer. Pretty much everything you said was wrong.jvar4001 Thanks this. -

Lol another dreamer believing what a secretary tells u over the phone... I was at the Power fuels job fair 2 weeks ago... The 2 bedroom housing there IS a waiting list and the 1 br housing is limited.... I work here... Live here and am at job sites every day... I talk to the drivers including power fuels... So don't tell me what I say is not true... U call ur recruiter and ask her if there is guaranteed 2 br housing available now. And see why he says or ask to talk to a manager...

The housing There building is on delay for summertime just like everyone else up here... We get over 50 calls a day and atleast 10 walk ins who drive from nowhere USA to make money who get here and are forced to leave cause they believe the hype of available housing.. Oh and u can get housing If u want to work away from the Williston area...the farther u go the easier housing gets... The cheaper they pay you. And for all the non believers I gave them an app in person and got a job offer within 4 days... But I showed up in person and had secured permanent housing... And your friend he obviously had the Exp they want when he applied to power fuels... That's about 10% of the applicants they get.

I have been watching this site for a few days.I will have my CDL in 2 weeks.
Since everyone has said it takes 2 or 3 weeks for online applications to
be responded to, if at all, i have applied to about a dozen different
places this past week. Today i got a call from Baker Hughes about a Coiled
Tubing Operator job in Canada. They are going to call me Monday for a
phone interview. What i would like to know is has anyone done a phone
interview with them or other companies and what kind of questions they
were asked. I know some people here are working or training as Coiled
Tubing Operators and i just wanted to have an idea of what to expect. Any
info on the training and job would also be great Thanks.none Thanks this. -
Other thing you said that doesn't make any sense is why in the world would they buy 500 trucks and have no way to fill them? They probably have more housing on the way shortly as meghan told me on the phone.
