Companyman...the IRS will "catch" the double payment..It will actually hold up your return (if your getting one)...wait a couple of weeks after filing and then call them...This happened to me a few years ago, they held my return until I contacted them..Once I explained the situation, they returned my money..

I'm still new at this but have to say been having a terrible time finding empty's lately. Even at our own yards! Just other day at Fontana (yard full of trailers) went through 5 trailers took 2hours and the one I finally got that was actually available had a broken brake light. The trailers I were trying to get were either TBO yet nothing appeared wrong with them?? or too new and not in the system.. At customer yards there is very limited supply:biggrin_25513:.. I'm not sure but it seems they are pulling a lot of them in for annual inspections plus the slow freight ..i guess.. Either way not complaining just explaining! Still getting 2200 to 2800 miles a week on average.

In fontana, go to the fuel desk and ask if any empties are available. Sometimes you get lucky and there's a few. SNI is getting rid of a lot of old trailers, that's why there yard is so jampacked and why there are so many TA6xxxxx & TA7xxxxx

Unfortanely the days of asking fuel desk for empty are going away. As soon they punch in your driver number and see your on work flow they tell u send a message they can't help us. Total bs

sitting in Dallas OC waiting on the windshield repairman to show up. What started this morning as a speck in the lower drivers side window is now a trail about 6 inches long and getting longer. Plenty of time on the load, so I am staying here tonight and headed to Houston tomorrow.

I was at the Atlanta OC waiting for an appointment for some training and overheard someone else that came in for training while I was waiting say some quite funny things to the training personnel. He was apparently there because he had a bunch of hard braking and rollover prevention critical events and when the OSR asked him about them, his excuse was that people pulled out in front of him everyday and that is why he had multiple hard braking events everyday. He also showed up to do training wearing tennis shoes not his slip resistant boots and apparently was on hometime today and left his truck at home knowing that he was going to need to some road driving. Did he not think before he left the house in his personal car that maybe he might need to come prepared for training?

Thanks man! Yeah that is what I ended up doing and how I found the trailer I got. Didn't realize all those trailers were getting serviced and so thought getting a MT would be a no brainier:biggrin_25523:.. Ha!

Just had nice run from Longbeach to Albany OR. Now headed to Reno!
