Well, not for more than a few days but my first trip otr was going to Miami from my home and back. Rode down there with my cousin. Even drove some, didn't have a license lol. '87 or '88 model 379 pulling a 48' reefer. B model CAT 425, 9 speed with the big hole against the dash. That truck would stroll. When I came back home I got my license. I remember trying to sleep in the floorboard some how or another.. they look cool but nope don't want live in one hahaha..

My old FLD had a 36" bunk and I drove that old girl for 7 years. The last 3 were OTR and it wasn't bad seeing I only got in the back to sleep, but after 5 days I would have to get a hotel room to stretch out. I couldn't handle taking a reset in there :biggrin_25523:

If you'd flip the headlights, that truck would be right on TommyZ ;-) My turns are not wired up to stay on either, they just blink..

Very nice setup. In that 36" I had nothing. The bed was directly behind the seats. No cabinets or storage. I even had to pull out the passenger seat just to take my cooler with. But the 8mpg it got helped ease the fact.

Shoot guys I've ran a daycab for most of the past 4 years and did many over nights and 20+ hour days in that thing with my big ### laid across the seats.

    #### ya'll are spoiled. spent half my otr carreer in a 62" flat top. team drove my first two years in a 62" pete standup but with only one bed. i spent half the nights sleeping on the floor with my head in one closet and my feet in the other closet and the old man would wake up twenty times a night and stand on me every stinking time
