Good point. It can still work in workflow if you have a task to pick up an empty at an OC if your list of trailers is blank. Just go to the fuel desk and ask if any empties are available, they will give you a list. I have never been asked my driver number when I ask the fuel desk. Go find one of the empties on the list. Click on pick up empty on workflow, click on exceptions, click on list is blank, type in the empty you found on the list, and wait for an updated assignment.

Theoretically it should work (I've done it once at fontana on workflow but workflow wouldn't assign it to me because it said that the trailer was over 30 miles from my location, whatever reason it wasn't in the system that it was in fontana or what not. Had to have my dbl resend the assignment manually with the trailer on me.)

went to drop my trl at kimberly clark and when i.pulled the handle to slide the tandems back i heard a pop. looked and.one of the pins broke off the rod that pulls it in. kimberly clark wont accept the trl and my reload was ready at 6am yesterday and needs to be 500 mi south in houston by 21:30. and here i sit waiting on emergency breakdown to call me back and tell me where to go. not happy today

 

let me know
if you get stuck around houston or go back up to dallas. if im around ill buy ya lunch. i should have been to houston by 3pm but now its all going to.depend on.how long it takes to get this trl fixed

the pin wont release so i cant slide it. i was trying to wedge something in there to hold the pin in so i could slide it but the gaurd saw what i was doing and said if its broken i cant drop it even if i got it slid. i was trying to not let them see it was broken but i am here twice a week and i know them all so he was sitting the shooting the bull while i tried to fix it. kinda hard to be sneaky. i figured i could get it slid, drop it and tbo it but no such luck.

kc has gotten very strict ever since someone dropped a trl out here with broken landing gear and the trl laid over on its side in the lot. and we all know kc gets what kc wants around here

 

Safety may need the physical copy to pay the ticket. Call your home oc and talk to the safety person.

hour and a half and no call from breakdown. this crap bugs me to no end. this is when i start hating a big company. normally i dont have to deal with anyone
