I have had a class B CDL for 15yrs and have been thinking of going over the road. I'm hoping someone can help me in the right direction, as to a reputable company, that won't be out to get me before I start. I have read some about Prime and that they do hands on training.....? Any input would be a help and greatly apreciated!! I have a clean driving record, no drug use and I've never had a DWI of any sorts.

I think Maverick takes students and they are in N. Little Rock. I would go there anytime over prime.

I was going to also recommend Maverick or TMC. In NW AR, either might be a good fit for a new guy wanting to flatbed. Prime may be good too, not sure how strong their flatbed program is, though.

Do you know EVERYTHING that is involved with your choice? Look for A)C.P.M. per MILE, B)Average Weekly Miles Per Driver, C)What products you will typically haul, D) What LANES you will typically run in, and E)How often you will get HOME (and off the road for some "R & R").

Trust me Driver, these questions can change Any or EVERYTHING!

Go to the Maverick, TMC,and Prime sections and read all you can. I'm sure you can get good advice from the guys that actually work there. Also check out the flat bed section.
