i think this may be it. i was there once, remember RR tracks. transload operation in the yard? looks like this address is on the epa cleanup list now. not listed as a QC terminal.

I think thats it. The street you were on crossed the tracks and ended at the gate to the terminal. If we had a load going into that area we would wash out there and reload at Conocco/Dupont in Alton Ill, just across the river.

I was in Central dispatch when CLTL bought Klipsch Trucking in ST Louis. That tankwash in East St. Louis was a competitor that Qualawash later swallowed up.

Good work navigating around those pesky school busses. I had a doozey in Brentwood, NY. The cyclone fence/ gate was hanginging down to the point where it was impossible to back the truck past so several schneider seals were used to hold the fence back. I would say the clearance even after the repair was 5".

My time w/ the TE was 14 days. W/o going into any real detail those were busy and early days. We did 4 pump unloads, 5 air unloads, countless loading/unloading using customer equipment, and drove 2,300 miles ( =/-).

As one might expect driving in NYC and on the NJ TPKE is a bit different than wheeling around The Burgh but it does not take long to adapt.

I would say that the most important part of being in a day cab w/ the TE is to be on top of the Qualcomm. Log everything as it happens and do not rush. The second most important aspect is to do a very careful pre trip of the trailers every time.

off to SQT. It can't be any worse than what I have already experienced right?

SQT was a one day affair. Waiting on a truck assignment now. Can't wait to see where schneider sends this newbie.

I've worn it about once a week. Got it set up like the firemen do so I can put it on fast. The pants are already pulled up over the boots so when I step in the boots all that I need to do is pull up the pants, click the suspenders and put on the coat. Fast work.
