USA Driver looking to relocate to Manitoba Canada

First step--marry a Canadian. I think moving to Canada is sort of risky. I don't think I'd do that unless I managed to acquire a Canadian national passport. You'd get this through marriage.

I say this because if you do move to Canada and get even as much as a speeding ticket, you could be deported. Also, if your employer fires you or you hate your employer and quit, you'll have to start all over with the visa process. Visa hassles are a pain the arse.

Make sure you're squared away on ALL details before going north. You want to consider every "What if...?" imaginable.

 

If you are trying to move to Manitoba the best first step may be to contact the provincial nominee program for the province. Although immigration is a federal issue the provincial governments have become more involved in the process.
