What are you pulling now a step or regular 48' spread axle flat?

if its 2.50 what is your cut of that, in other words what do you end up with per mile?

would the 2.00 per mile tranlate into say around 1.40 to 1.50 to you?

At $2.50 it comes out to $1.82 mile to the truck, at $2.00 I would get $1.46 (73%) I base my rate on Odometer miles as well. I have been able to keep my rate at $3.75 so far the last 2 weeks, but next week is gonna be a little lower only because I'm going home, but I have yet to touch a tarp :biggrin_25525:

Once I get some IN's with agents I should be able to keep things closer to home and make more per mile. There is plenty of stuff coming out within a 50 mile radius of my house paying $5+ a mile..... but only going 100-150 miles. If I could get one of those everyday i would be a very happy man.

Here's what I'm babysitting down here in Florida this weekend. Rate was VERY good, till I found out I could not deliver on Moday due to the holiday. So i will unload early Tuesday and start my treck back to the house.

Looks good. What is that headache rack? Kind of hard to see but looks similar to what TMC trucks have? I've seen some decent used ones, nothing fancy but good enough to do the job, around here for $500 on occasion. I might be hooking to a flat for a couple of weeks this spring.

Well the PORT in open, so the agent thought I could deliver on Monday. I called and found out otherwise, but they ponied up for me to sit on it for the day. So I'm happy......bored, but happy LOL

It is a Sturdy-Lite. I bought it new from Tarpstop for $1800 out the door, and they sold me a 18" step box for $200... so $2,000 installed total for it all. I'm happy with it, just need to make some kind of a frame bracket so i can slide it back about a foot. Right now my air tank is in the way for the U-bolt's I have on it now.

Why would you want to slide it back?
