What BigCat said. On my last quarterly fuel tax statement the 3 states I ran the most miles in were Ill, Mo and Ok.

Im not a company driver, im a lease driver but my first week was 500 miles and last week was over 2700 miles. This week is over 1700 when i del this load tonite but i had a day off bc the truck was in the shop. My apu is not working right again so as soon as i can get back to kc its going back into the shop. As far as time at a customer out of 8 loads so far 2 have been live loads on both ends and 1 live unload. The rest have been drops on both ends. Yesterday was the longest i had to wait for a load. About 1 hr. and they gave me a choice of 3 loads.

do they pay for downtime for repairs again i'm asking as a company driver. not sure i want to be a lease driver or o/o. and it say company drivers start at .45 per mile if a guy could average 2700 that's not bad. I live just south of the quad cities in Il. would it be easy to get by the house and do they let you take your truck home

Yeah i'm not thinking it's .45 to start. Information gathered says .35 to start and above that is performance-based (safety, fuel, productivity). 2000-2500mi average miles. Home every 2 weeks. Might wanna give a recruiter a call to verify, i'm just a visual memory bank with occasional lapses of clarity.

I think they said on act facebook page once that you start at .38 cpm and can be moved up to .45 cpm within the first six months based on performance.

would you recommend this company to a driver that's been around for awhile with tons of experience. and looking for a company the will not tell you one thing and do another. as far as elogs do they try to run your logs or are you in control of when you start your 14 or do they tell you when to start your on duty status. i'm trying to find a company that respects you and does not lie to you. i have a good record with only 1 speeding ticket in truck since I've been a driver and only 1 accident which was just backing into a light pole which only damaged the dot bumper.

I dont know if they do pay breakdown pay for company drivers. I wouldnt think they would breakdown very much since the company drivers do get the brand new trucks.

I would recommend this company. They have not lied to me yet. The only time i really hear from them is if i ask them a question or about the loads. Other than that they leave me alone as long as i pick up and del ontime. As far as elogs go i have not had any problems with it yet. I decide when to start my clock. They dont try to control my logs.
