    Question,
Do you have a breakdown of the L/P . Costs , expenses, fsc, my wife
Wife thinks its easier to lp instead of buying used for
    $20,000 - $30,000.

Did you get the main. Funds back? And final question
I'm a year how much do you think you spent on main.

    Thanks

Dont do the new lease with USXpress. You get a 07 wore out company truck thats probably had 20 drivers through it.It is an automatic, which should tell you maint. issues to begin with.Next its a base model century. The worst of all is the engine. They only lease the cat engines because of the breakdown issues they've had with that engine. The cat engine is called a accert, probably the worst diesel engine ever produced. The fuel milage will kill you,4.5 to maybe 6 on a light load driving slow.I speak from exp.If you have a couple years otr exp. private message me an I might be able to point you in the direction of a good company.

Well it says report a bad company here. It does not say report and then hang out for a few months. And why would they want to hang out when there reward for posting is insults.

So if you go into business for yourself and lease a truck from USX and it puts you in the poor house it must because you did not know what you where doing and you did not read the contract?

Most of the leases I have seen stack the deck against the driver. And no matter how much business sense you have the company you are renting the truck from can put even a MBA graduate in the poor house if they want to.

And I am sure all these outfits that lease trucks are doing so with the highest amount of integrity known to man and are just trying to afford people with a excellent opportunity to run a rig for themselves. LOL

And as far as signing a contract without reading? The Gov is bailing out thousands who did just that with my tax money. Apparently according to the Gov they where tricked into it So personal responsibility and reading what you sign does not seem to be a priority these days.

Well you are right but didn't take me three years sitting at truckstop since yesterday along with 5 other us drivers one has been here for 5 days can't pickup until tomorrow evening .drive for us you will drive for a day or 2 and sit for 2 days. And hear the reason no freight in area. They have to pay 5000 sign on bonus just to get teams to hire on then after 9 months of ######## they got the bonus and quit but you loose more than 5000 in the time you sit for days better off starting at a company that has miles . When you look at there ads when they say does your company leave you stranded. I think they need to look in mirror really there ads are what they do to drivers

If you cant afford to go to a dealer and buy a truck, you have no business doing a lease-purchase deal. All you wind up doing is maintaining their old, junk trucks for them and become their slaves. Right now it is far too easy to own a truck and get your authority.

Well of course, that is how they get you to team. By starving you out as a solo. They only need solo's to do p&d out of the rail yards. And deliver team loads off the yard.

And your only doing better financially. 2 people in a truck? Sleeping while someone else is driving? Having to agree on everything to do with the operation of the truck? I have seen teams going at it on fuel islands to many times to count. Driving solo OTR is bad enough, but teaming? all I can say is why, unless it is family.

Now before all the teams start bellyaching and saying how great it is. Give it up, I have run teams before and your just mental if you think 2 people living in a truck for weeks at a time is grounds for jumping for joy.

I've never teamed.I don't think I could handle it.Too much give and take. But there are many married couples teaming and some really like it.But you have to be compatible.I mean look how many trainees don't make it thru training, after 2 weeks if even that, they're ready to kill each other.
