    Ive had the lights in my dash go out two times(while driving at night of course). Both times i woke up the next day and they worked.

    Its called not fun for a newbie like myself lol. My Cd player also likes to stop working and then wont eject the disc either, but usually shutting the truck off for a few min fixes that.

    Maybe a relay or something to that effect,the T-660"s are doin the same thing. Had a freymiller truck 2 weeks ago doin it at heb san antone. She was a little freaked out about it-told her to shut off trk and all lights while on dock for at least 5 min,when recranked they worked fine-when I left dock 6 hrs later she said they were still working,IDK,that's why I drive a pete-hate those dam kw's.

    Petes and kws are the same, my last truck peter 389 had the dash lights go out, I shut the truck off and restart it so everything resets and alll was good.

    HI Guy's & Gals
    my name is Dave I've been reading this thread almost non stop for a few day's and only up to page 264 I myself am considering JBS as a possible choice once out of school (CDL) among many others but am kinda curious
    1. did they ever go to FUEL Optimizer/trip planning
    2. did upper management ever get there "issues" worked out
    3. did they get the grant to put APU's on all the trucks
    4. since the 387's are discontinued did they switch to the 587 ?
    5. is JBS pulling there own freight instead of contracting to "other carriers "
    Who is still working for JBS I hope all but from what I've seen alot on pg 200+
    wern't to happy with the "pinheads" in the office
    so is???

    NocoCraig didnt work for JBS. He thought about it but JBS didn't allow pets so he has been driving for US Express for the past year.

    @JBS13695 ;

    Is the Texas dedicated worth anything, seeing how I live there? And why are they having so much difficulty; I mean Meat hauling for years has been the attitude of " get it there yesterday".. I ask questions because when I leave Afghanistan I will have a stiff Mortgage to pay; so I can't be messing around with some yahoo outfit going broker by the minute!

    And could you have a trainee on the tx dedicated? You could get 3000 miles/week just in Tx alone man...All the talk on this forum for the tx dedicated seems mixed. Any input?? Thank-you; Sir!

    I am the texas ded full time. No you can't get 3K a week cause your on the dock every day or multiple times a day. Some days I pull 4 trailers work 12-14 hrs an only run 400 miles. My best week since may 2011 is 2780 miles. Our take home pay is consistant though since we do the same kind of runs over an over. YOU THERE that thinks jeff gordon rules,in his own words(recorded on my tivo and burned to disc) "KYLE BUSCH IS THE GREATEST DRIVER OF ALL TIME" yepper JG said that,I didn't. Yea kw's an petes are the same,I prefer the petes. The 587 is a 387 cab with a km 770 type hood. Hded to waco...
