Could you give me a little bit more information Deann? I went over and talked with NBI. I talked with a man there. I forgot his name. He was very nice and not pushy to get my signature. I am planning to attend this coming summer. I got online and didn't find much about NBI. Could you give me information as you attend the school? What companies hire NBI drivers? How many students per truck? Etc.

Could you give me a little more information on NBI as you attend the school? What companies hire NBI students? How many students train on one truck? Some of the other schools have sometimes 4 students on one truck. I would appreciate your information.

I am attending career tech.. Smaller class size about 7 total at the school - two trucks for skills. basically we get the permit, work on pretrip, than we master yard skills than we will go on the road an play in traffic. The testing for cdl is done at the school, you can take the tests as many times as it takes an theres no penalty. give him a call. 580 down an the rest is payroll reduction an most companies will pay that tuition of 5800 by paying 150 monthly. US Express, Werner, swift, and a bunch of other companies are connected with david for prehires.

I am not familiar with either of these schools. Do they have night classes or weekend classes. What is the tuition? How many students per truck? What companies hire from these to schools? I checked with NBI but just talked to a man there. I don't really know anything about NBI? I would appreciate your information.

I see your results. Mid Florida Tech sounds good but I live in the Tampa area.

You could try the wia program an go to school for free.. check the empoyment agency place for more details if you want to do it for minimal costs.. but you get what you pay for.. with career tech you get a 160 hour diploma an the school is reputable. good luck with any school you go to.

I heard they were a money scam (career Tech), and do not train you on the proper equipment (only day cabs and short one axle trailers). Is this true?
