Schnieder national-a decent company IMHO

falconbowhunter- I made less because yes i did not get the miles based on the 6days out /3 off program i was on.It was my own choice & I don't blame Schneider at all,as it was my choice and that's what i wanted.The pay was pretty low & i did the per Diem as well.I set my goal to be out of there in a year & to get on with another outfit,and i met that goal.
I mean with Schneider I know there more money to be made,if you stay out on the road.Its only fair & with Schneider if i chose to stay out 2-4 weeks at a time,I could have done better.My goal was to get road experience and move on.Schneider was good to me & treated me fairly,and i think there a great company.

 

I'm sure there are worse companies out there,but if you have no experience you got to get it somewhere. Most of the time I was happy being with Schneider,a few times i felt like they were lieing to me,or not being truthful just to move freight.My goal was set to find something local after a year running with them,and i achieved that.
