    got the truck fixed...hopefully went to get the truck and they couldnt find my keys but knew the truck hadnt left apparently they forgot they left it in the bay....appt was rescheduled bc of the weather expected in chicago so ill be there on monday

    on the light trailer rule in wyo i thought i didnt matter what trailer you pull if its light you dont drive

    A very thorough one. I believe its done through the FBI.

    Depends. If it's wind, and I was pulling a skateboard, it would be different from pulling a billboard. Don't ever remember seeing an empty flatbed in the ditch... ever.

    Im more concerned about the ice. Call me what you want. Nothing does well on ice, and Ive heard reports of ice. Moving just isnt worth the risk. Cant pick up til morning, and dont deliver til Monday 800 miles away.

    Ive already been sliding today. From the reports over the CB, its still icy in places. I have no weight for traction. If I had my load already, Id roll. 47,000 pounds of shingles would do nicely. I passed 4 rolled trucks, and theres more east of here. Ive survived this winter by being cautious, so lets continue it.

    very true but i was thinking of the truck being a target im sitting at the yard and my truck is rocking with the light winds he are getting here

    i guess its always up to the driver do what you feel is best and if you want to drive in high winds dont go flying down the road my thoughts only

    Guess I am the lucky one my trainer had to be home for a doctor's appt I am now spending a few day's at home. have the grand children and get to go out again friday or saterday. see you on the road. I am with Charlie white if you see us at a truck stop.

    You wont have to wait long they are very good at getting in touch. I am on my second trainer first one did not want to train anymore. the second one is great. be prepared to work hard there is a lot to learn
