So do you know for a fact if this applies to Air Products or was this not mentioned on Rush Limbaugh ? If Air Products was NOT mentioned specifically on this particular talk show you were listening to while stuck in traffic in Portland, then...what is the point ? Have you loaded at an Air Products plant ? Have you ever been to an Air products plant ? Do you know where any Air Products plants even are ? Do you know what Air Products even manufactures ? So, if the answer is NO to the questions listed, then WHAT does this have to do with Air Products ? Myself and another person on this board HAVE been to Air Products on a regular basis. Perhaps we could inform their black/Hispanic/Caucasian and female drivers that Air Products is a racist employer, which they are NOT. And if you are claiming "reverse discrimination"...there are TONS of Caucasian drivers at Air Products too...I know, I use to drive for them..I left on good terms and they ARE one of the few "good" companies that pay/treat drivers well and I don't like seeing them lambasted by innuendo by people who have never been there/done that for them.

The OP stated Air products was racist , not me. And the program was actually some lib lady talking to her buddy's in the EEOC. Since no one from the EEOC would ever go on Rush without a hidden mic with handlers or a TelePrompter like are prez. And under the EEOC it does not matter what you or anyone else thinks. All that matters is that the racial makeup reflects the racial makeup in the community. It is about numbers, like that $5 a gallon fuel we will be buying this summer that you and the guy you are giddy for Obama will have to explain. Can't cook the books on that one my friend.

And i really don't care what you like or dislike or think is relevant. The US flag hangs outside my door and it does not have a hammer and sickle on it like yours comrade, brotherhood or whatever your commune is.

 

They take the person most qualified for the job. That is ludacris saying only white people get it, because I am white and even had a inside connection and still didn't get in, granted my grandfather was a electrical engineer there, I still had inside connections.... Im sorry you didn't get in but I highly doubt it had anything to do with race....all I can say is enough of the race card crap the rest of the society, and myself are tired of hearing that!

 

Before I became a truck driver I applied in every warehouse in the Bethlehem/Allentown area. Almost everyone working inside every warehouse was hispanic. Not once did I receive an offer of employment. A few told me that they had found applicants that were more qualified. Really? People throw the "racist" card around like a used snot rag these days. Companies receive tax breaks for hiring minorities and the only white people inside the building is the secretary and the "Big Boss". If it wasn't for truck driving I would probably still be un-employed.

 

You're 100% correct, but your experience shows that there is also "reverse racism" going on out there. Funny how no one makes a big deal about that...
