Have you tried CCC http://www.ccc-transportation.com/ or CTL http://www.ctltransportation.com/ ? Both are based south of I-4 in FL.

CCC? CTL? what is the requirements for a driver with some experience not straight out of school? probably 6mo correct?
-
Werner like Swift and a few other "Big" Companies get most of their new drivers straight from the schools. This way they get the kick backs from the goverment. It's all B.S.
-
Comcar(CCC,CTL,CT,WSE and MCT) recruiter came to our school 2 days ago. All Auto Macks(62 mph) and just lost the Budweiser dedicated(to Werner). All hire students from FL. except MCT(owner/operator)
CT- flatbed, must live w/i 50 miles of terminal
CTL- tanker, hazmat req'd
WSE- reefer
CCC- dry van and some flat and tank
An option for someone who lives in the right areas of FL and doesn't mind autos.
I don't live in the right areas and "I floats 'em like an auto already!"
haha JK

Well, my instructor has a trucking company of his own for over 30, and he told me that their scoring requirements are so strict, they wouldn't even take HIM! or lease on his trucks. He said their scoring requirements are ridiculous! He would take me in an instant, but his insurance requirements are such because he is a small guy, that I need a year of experience.
You don't even know me... how can you make a judgment call about me, based purely on what WERNER has to say. -
so who are you going with???????? -
I used to drive for Werner, and yes I admi their pay is no where near the greatest, depending on your account, you will have to fight for home time. However within Werner research the accounts available in your area. Your experience with them will vary greatly based on your account, for example, northeast regional can be horrible, while north easy regional feeder account will keep you moving, as fa as southern accounts, there are dedicated options, talk with your trainer, if you do not like your trainer request a different one ASAP it is you right to request a different trainer, talk to your student manage as often as possible, you can get good experience from Werner, you get what you put into it basically. Im not saying that you shouldn't explore other options. You might find something great that you want to stay with more than two years. most likely Werner will be expecting you to move on eventually and they will treat you like they know you are going to leave, most of their employees do. I had a positive experience with them. Got what I wanted out of them, and moved on, this is what Werner is for IMHO. Feel free to ask me any questions you want about my experience with Werner. I will not just pass in horror stories and rumors.

I should mention, that when it comes to Werner, the recruiters only know what they are told, you will never see a recruiter around the Werner divers or terminals, so take everything they say with a grain if salt, if you want to know the truth, talk to the drivers. Mainly driver who have actually driven for them

i am signing on with Werner I am not a newbie but i have been out the truck a little long to be considered experienced lol. anyways they said i would be getting .29 per mile and i would be running an area of FL-ME-MN-LA and everything between.
