I see there is a sink next to the coffee maker at nearly every truck stop. Can we use that to wash our dishes, or is that for employee use only?
Do you wash your dishes in the bathroom sink or at Coffee section sink?

I wouldn't put anything I eat off of near a truck stop bathroom sink! If they give you a hard time about using the sink next to the coffee makers I wouldn't go there anymore...

Thx so I am asking if that is the place truckers can wash their dishes? I don't want everyone giving me a mean look if they see me washing dishes in that sink next to the coffee maker. I don't drink coffee so I assume that sink is used to wash out the coffee pots?

I think you had better ask first.
There are health department rules that a business must adhere to.Truckergirl0720 and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
We used to wash them in the truck or just outside the truck. I would never even consider taking them into a truck stop and I suspect they would not appreciate __ to __ people standing around waiting to do a load of dishes. I assume something here or there would not be a problem but if everyone was to bring in their dishes to wash "in the sink by the coffee pot" could you imagine the mess you would have?

I wash mine in the truck.. please don't bring your dishes in to wash in the ts sinks.. its bad enough with the people brushing their teeth in there.

You have a problem with someone brushing their teeth in a sink. Really?

Be gentle he has only been out here for a year. Pretty soon he will see a lot worse things being washed in the sink.
