Don't take this wrong but communication is a 2-way street and many times requires you to be proactive...Not saying you did this, but we can't just sit waiting on dispatch at times...If you need them, CALL THEM...If you can't reach your specific dispatcher for the area you're in, there are others you can call to get what you need...Saying they screwed you is pretty harsh, if you'd like to share the details of why you think that, I'd be happy, if possible, to offer solutions for the next time it happens...

Still in Vancouver running local although I will spend the night in Bend tonight. Don't want to get up and hassle the chain-up required areas on US26 at 4:30 in the morning. Am going to head up the gorge this afternoon and run up US97 to Bend for the night and start my drops in Bend, Redmond and The Dalles tomorrow. Will be two easy days and I won't run the chance of losing out on a local run Tuesday due to weather on the passes.

KY has had the mildest winter on record, I believe...It's almost 60 today and suppose to get even warmer during the week...Here in central KY, we haven't even seen an inch of snow where this time last year it was never ending...

Seems like its been a mild winter all over.

Hahaha welcome to the armpit of America. That run up over Elk Mountain on I-80 can be crazy this time of the year. 50 in Wamsutter and Cheyenne but white-out conditions on Elk Mountain. They have been opening and closing I-80 all day long for the past week. Its been nuts. lol

Ya, they finally opened it and I ran to Lyman, WY (rest area). Got up early and after I got on the road they closed I-80 again. Got lucky and made it through... Seems they're closing it at the drop of a hat, cuz it really wasn't that bad through there. And once past Evanston it was clear, dry, and windless.
