I don't think either of those has a CDL school.

I live in the Southeastern corner of Washington State. My kids live in Columbia South Carolina and I want to go over the road so I can see them on a regular basis. I have a CDL-A but no Hazmat endorsement and haven't driven in 8 years. I need a refresher, I know. Do you know how much the refresher costs, how long it is, and if they will take the cost out of my check over time?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Yea but o/op rates drop dramatically during the winter. Less. Freight being shipped...more trucks available and ready...cheaper freight ...

Been driving for about 9 years now and am currently working at my first non driving job since 2003. Been since May last year. Looking to get back in ( its cold out here). Love driving and miss it, only problem was my last good driving job was close to perfect. Made great money, good people, respect from employers, free stock. Only problem was it was up north and I begged the wife to move for 8 yrs. and she finally gave in.( I'm originally from Ga.) Thinking of crst. I have a good friend of mine that wants to team up. There is a Ga to Morton Il dedicated team run we're going to shoot for but I've never known or spoken with anybody from CRST(driver). I have more experience than my codriver but I think he will be ok. He's only driven daycabs short distances for the garage and the yard truck. Guess what I'm wanting to know is if Crst is a decent company or do they promise the moon to get you in then hope you stay on long enough to get their money out of you. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Both do. I would also try Prime. A buddy of mine is there and is enjoying it.
