Doing CDL testing on my own, need a truck for the driving test

No one had done it this way? I just need a truck, are there any places that o the license that provide a truck

Just ask a school to rent one for a day or find a friend with one.

stop by the testing center and ask them. Here in GA some of them have trucks parked next to the test center with ads to rent them.

yes, i have... but it was in CA and the truck rental cost me $450. Good thing I passed everything on the first try.

yup, was pricey but covered what is required; air brake, manual trans and combination. nowhere is it stated you must take your driving test with a class 8 tractor and 53' trailer. Well at least not in California.
