Ok I can't figure out how to hookup the cb in this new Prostar. The wires are green and white. I understand that in electrician world green is ground and white is hot? I get nothing when I hook my wires. I changed the fuse on the cb wire. Feel a little vulnerable without my cb. :)

I wouldnt trust anything, its easy enough to get a test light and finding out which one is the actual hot wire.

What gauge wire would you say that is in the ProStar for the CB ? Not planning on running a big amp just a couple of radios .

Not sure about the gauge, but it's pretty much the same thickness as the standard cb wire hookup.

in a pro star ground is white. as for a good power supply there is a feed from the battery for the fuse box under the center of the dash. you can get at it from the passenger side of the dog house there are two sloted plastic tabs in the top of the storage tray. the whole tray pops out and you can see the battery feed. big red wire. ps i grounded my radios to the frame as i was having grounding issues with the factory harness. good luck!

The factory supplied green/white wires intended to power the CB in Pro stars will only support about 50-60w output, so don't push it ;)
