Well, I'm getting the shaft AGAIN!

Supposed to be home on Thursday after being out for 4 weeks cause they couldnt get me home last time! Got a load picking up in Carrollton GA tomorrow night, delivers in Orlando Friday morning!

They could have easily found a load to get me home by my requested time but they have shown time and time again that covering their own loads is more important than getting a broker load to get a driver home on time!

I am officially done! I was this close to deadheading home today but my anniversary date is March 15th and I'll be ###### if I'm gonna let them not pay me vacation pay!

I will be using my vacation time to find a local job and then JBS can kiss my arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Im waiting to start my orientation so im not wise in the waus of the trucking world. But even in school they warned me that you wont usually get home when you want. Seems to me thats kind of the nature of the beast. I understand tat it can be frustrating but i think most companies are like that. Happy anniversary, my birthday is the 15th. Stay safe out there.

 

I understand. They shorted me 450.00 on the Texas Dedicated Debacle. I have 6 job offers right now just waiting on the one I really want to call me before I jump. It sucks they want you to p/u and del ontime they should get you home on time.

 

you are very jaded coming out of school,take it from an old timer, I have worked for many companies and this is the only one that can't seem to get us home on time,they missed Christmas with 8 weeks notice, and I live in an easy area to get home to.You need to get a little time under your belt before you make a statement like that.

 

no,actually it's not.since my first seat in 1995,i've been home 99.5 %of the time on time.i accept nothing less.even swift was good about it.

Well I finally got a response and they Have decided to fly someone in to pick up the truck, I have an letter of release from JBS that nothing will be put on my DAC and that they have accepted responsibility for the truck at this time.

 

Get this dropped and hooked in Tomah,WI. this morning they gave me a CH Robinson trash load to Ky. Must be no freight of ours in WI

That's was a smart thing to do Doc get that release.. Alot of drivers get pissed and leave their trucks in the truck stops and and get the abandonment
on their dac. Sorry to have seen you go my brother (lodge 34)
