So I Mac 11 this load and after delivery of previous load get delivery info on new load. I look and go what the heck I can't make that on time. Yet now is my fault load is late. How do I trip plan a load I don't even know when delivery is? I told them at pickup I can't make it.

  3. Got a good one.
On i70, headed into aurora, stop for break and realize not 1 but 2 right trailer tires are bubbled, shredding and have steel belt sticking thru.
Fortunately we are at a TA with tire service. Send QC, receive back-
We don't use TA or Petro for tires, too expensive and crappy tires.
    Seriously?
Tire shoP called and verified that yes indeed I am not going to make it any further,
    So they get approval.
We are going to start skimping on trailer tires now?
    Wow.

Occasionally you get some one in OTRM that is stuck on stupid or a new guy trying to go exclusively by whatever little book they have for policy.

Had a no start problem awhile back that was obviously an electrical problem. OTRM told me right off the bat to check all my fluid levels and call them back with what I find.

It turned out to be a bad starter.

only ford cars have a no start on fluid levels. even air conditioner.

i wouldn't think anyone else would be dumb enough to follow ford.

now, i could see a no start from coolant level. but i'd think the driver would get a light or something LONG before it was low enough to not start.

But even after it gets to that point, the engine will start and run for about 30 seconds before turning off, lost a hose in ohio, found this out first hand.

my understand is that ford won't start. but someone once mention not crank at all.

i've been retired from auto mechanics for 13 years and i've never or will ever own a ford. so i wouldn't know.
