HPOP Pressure

    Have an 05 dt466 and when i test the hpop i only get 500 psi. When i deadhead the pump i get the same. It has a new icp and ipr.Need some help please!

    If you are dead heading the pump correctly, and the pressure is only 500psi, you need a new pump. These pumps should hit 4000 before their internal relief valve opens. Pumps do go bad. Before you go any further, see if you set up some adaptors and apply 120 psi of shop air to the high pressure line going to the head. Listen for any air leaks under the valve cover.
