You stereotype truckers to be scum and only took this career path because of the economy. If you're education is so great, why did you hit 2 parked cars, a parked trailer, and a guiderail, all within a year? Meanwhile, toothless bubba has a million accident free miles.

Full set of teeth and a college degree thank you very much. That all you got? 4 accidents in less then a year, you have no business driving a big rig.

Must make you sad being so smart and yet such a bad driver.
Seems your book smarts didn't work out for you either princess.
If you don't want the truth don't ask for it.

hum i see this as he needs too work somewere else for 6 years, thats what im doing, i too took a break from the road for awhile , so i plan too do a refresher and get back out there, his reason sounds sound, i too did hit a pole late at night with top part of my right corner of trl, the city smokee said not my fault becuse the pole was blown over by high winds earler in the day , and the bottom cleared , just not the top and made the wires touched and blackout 3 blocks , but the cop said nothen , no tickets and fix the pole back upright along with the other 4 ploles that were blown over, and it wasnt even a hard hit just a light tap, and i was backing into a spot on the street, but yes being black out is very hard too back up a trl,i told my boss and he said dont worry about ,so i didnt, but now if your hitting something in broad daylight now thats a differnt story, :biggrin_2558:

I said many, not all. My comment still stands. Many truckers are straight out of central casting complete with bad or no teeth, wife beaters and goold chains.

It used to crack me up when the message came over the Qualcomm, "be on the lookout for suspicious people." he. I am at an American truck stop ok, define suspicious.

At any rate thanks for the input. It was what I had figured.

You'll get hired, by a smaller outfit somewhere.

Alot of the mom and pops don't use DAC services.

Those are basically incidents, that won't show on your MVR.........

screw dac...avoid companies that subscribe to it !!!!

Seems to me OP's attitude is trucking was, and is a last ditch, nothing else to do to make a buck anyway I can thing.

OP's assessment of the fellow worker's speaks volumes for the how and why OP can't seem to maneuver around without smacking stuff.

Go do something else that perhaps wouldn't make you feel you were working "below" yourself !

I don't have any wise cracks, just one very useful request of you, if you should get hired with your stellar driving record, all in one year, could you please inform the rest of us every night via TTR where you'll be parking, that way we can vacate the parking lot so you have enough room to park without hitting anything. Thanks for your understanding.
