Any load from shipper to consignee over 200 loaded miles is paid milage, under 200 miles is paid percetage.

Loads picked up from shipper and brought back to the yard are paid milage plus hourly for loading time.

Picking up empty trailers is milage pay.

Unless I have it all wrong, when you go to get a tank loaded at a shipper, loading time is the time between when you get there and when you leave.

For example, you go to cutrale to get loaded. You get there at 2pm, but your empty tank doesnt get into a bay until 5 because you have other trucks ahead of you. You still get paid for those 3 hours. Don't you? Help me out here tankeryanker

Yes, your clock starts as soon as you pull onto the shippers property, doesnt matter if your early, late or ontime for appointment, your clock starts when you get there and ends when you recieve the bills of lading

Its not too bad, but it aint great either. Our ourly loading pay is just a hair above minimum wage, and stops once it reaches 40 bucks. So you will never get more than 40 bucks for loading time. It aint great, but i guess sometimes its better than a poke inthe eye ;-)

Before I got into trucking I was a registered pharmacy technician. I counted pills, I poured liquids, I mixed liquids with other stuff and put it in IV bags, anything that requires a prescription was handled by me in some way before it was given to the customer. Definitely not a job anybody can do. If you were working 40 hours a week and making more than 400 a week, you were doing pretty well. That's higher than the average pay for a tech in Lakeland Florida. Most techs make between 9 and 10 an hour.

I do only a tiny percentage of the work here doing local work that I did in the pharmacy and I'm making better money than I was in the pharmacy. If I lost my job right now that is what I would have to fall back on. I'll sit on my ### and wait and make more money than work my ### off for less money any day of the week.

I wish it was 15bucks. According to my paystubs, loading pay is $7.32/hr

Tanker Yanker You said b4 that you only go home every other weekend why not run the road for two weeks? Make more $$ and not work so hard.

I cant see every other weekend as local work.
