Yep, I've been here 11 months now. I will be moving on after taking my vacation in late March, hopefully to Interstate Dist or Jim Palmer. Nothing at all against Butler, I'm just looking for more cents per mile and more west coast freight as I'll be moving to Oregon in about a year or so.

Thanks I have a friend that worked there left because of an illness and the only bad thing he exp was the low per mile I think if they got that up might not be too bad.Of course he was old school and ran what they gave him and always managed to stay busy.

Butler is totally ripping you off besides the per diem they take out Kansas state taxes, even tho you are resident of another state, and then to get back anything you have to pay a non resident fee which equals about 1/3 of what they took out.Have driven for 30 years and worked out of many states and NEVER run upon this kind of rip off!

Forced per diem or can you opt out of the per diem? Per diem saves the company a lot of money on Social Security and other taxes?
Plus they are paying you what is already yours as part of what they pay you

Its against the law to force per diem, also when your Social Security checks will be smaller because you played at a lesser rate that why companies love it they pay less Social Security for you too and blow up your pay rate with money that was already yours!
