Does Prime run the criminal background check before acceptance to training program, at orientation, or both. My recruiter said she was running it before my application approval, but I see in the 2011 orientation Docs that it's done at orientation.

 

The do a preliminary before acceptance and then a more in-depth one at orientation.

 

Don't plan on keeping anything hidden! If you've had problems in the past, no matter how minor or embarassing - be up front about it with your recruiter.

 

When I was there, they told all of us that they can deal with anything. As long as they know about it up front. Any surprises and you go home.

To be safe I told them about my record when I was 13. It was sealed and never showed up. When they talked to me about it, I explained everything. They asked me about it in detail and asked why did I do it? I told them at 13 it was a good idea; but at 47 it would be very stupid. They laughed and we moved on. However they said if it would have came up and I didn't tell them ahead of time I would have been sent home on my own dime.

Bottom line, no matter how petty or how long ago, Tell them up front!!!!
