i put on a fass system, high flow mufflers, wheel covers, and eco tasmanian pipe, also a 3000d pipe, microblue everything including the needle bearing the the u-joints, polished the truck so the wind flows easily, only haul 2 foot high loads, added the air cell, run 6 different kinds of fuel additives, have the lowest rolling resistant tires, with teflon coated tread, air tabs on truck and flat trailer( all down the rub rails), mesh mudflaps, side skitys on the flatbed, and drive 23 mph everywhere i go. my mpg is out the roof, in fact i am saving so much money i now Pay the shipper 40 cents a mile to haul his load to burn off all this extra fuel before it runs out on the ground.

i wish i had a dime for every fuel saving device ever advertised or sold to truckers, i could retire to aruba.

mythbusters tv show did an episode where they tested on a car many different fuel saving devices commonly sold and advertised, none of them worked and in fact worsened mileage on some. they did their test pulling fuel from marked container so they could measure exactly how much was used.

the real puzzler is all this the fact that if someone did do sae tests and bonafide dyno testing, and a product was proven to work without a doubt, sales would go thru the roof.

it has to make ya wonder if a lot isnt a placebo effect, like what occurs when new drugs are tested on people, the ones given nothing but sugar pills often say they are improved and feel better, but there are also ones in the sugar pill group who feel worse.

    figure that one out.

A placebo, that is probably the best way I have ever heard all these gimmicks explained.

How many of you that are blasting the Ecotaz are running Centramatics, the biggest con and ripoff ever passed on to truckers?

I don't know if the Eco actually works or not, but almost everyone that tried it says it does. I say if you haven't tried it, and unless you know exactly how it is made, and know for a fact it won't work, don't blast it. That is why I can blast Centramatics, I tried them, they didn't help, and possibly made things worse.

Mythbusters did a show on pickup trucks with and without tailgates said it was bull but years ago i had a ford ranger that got 3 mpg better without it. Ford f150 no difference dodge Dakota 1mpg better chevy silverodo 2mpg better. Current truck Chevy Colorado No difference. People always tell me it's bull don't make a difference but i try it on each new truck some it helps some it don't. The point being un less you try it you wont know for sure.

They do have two bolt circles. Same pattern, one with larger holes. I can see where if a person didn't install centramatics correctly they'd have one hell of a bad issue with out of balance. My truck rides smooth as silk with them on all 3 axles.

Wonder why you never see any of the magical tubes in the racing world where they are looking for every kind of advantage they can get?

Pittsburgh Power stuff came out of competitive tractor pulling, Fleet Air Filters came from the Kinser Sprint Car filters and MicroBlue was in the top 3 Indy Cars at the Indy 500 last year and was in Tony Stewart's Cup car along with his World of Outlaw teams.

I have yet to see any engine builders for any racing team testing with a Turbo3000 or an EcoTaz that if they were so great of an enhancement, they would be the first to have them. You know these guys test everything on dynos for hours.
