Well you win some you lose some.... Kicked my coil off in Madison, MS at 0800. Waited an hour for a load. Load comes and I got 3 hours to deadhead 150 miles. Get to Weyerhauser here in Bruce, MS at 1300. Just got done straping and tarping....ugh. Out of hours, looks like I'm camping out here tonight
On another note...my tarp looks great!

 

Well if it isn't one thing, it's another. Picked up a load of aluminum plate this past Fri in St. Paul going to NC. A great 1200 mile run to start out the week since I didn't have to deliver till Tue. I wound up sitting in Black River Falls, MN with the stomach flu. They finally got a driver to come get the load from me on Mon & I West Tue morning. Still not 100%, but I'm just taking it easy till I'm completly better.

 

Dont feel bad. I had that in January and wasted pretty much the week gettin better. My flu didnt hit me til early monday morning and I wasnt able to feel upto driving til thursday by which time i told them to just load me back home. The week was easted by then anyway.

 

Doggone norovirus been goin around kickin everyones butt this year and a flushot dont prevent that because its not the flu even though folks call it stomach flu. Now Ive got a major head cold. Cant seem to stay unsick this winter.

 

Just sent out my release forms and app. Is geting reveiwed hope everything checks out good

 

Its sucks being sick in the truck...been there, done that.

Pneumonia....laid around in the truck for 3 days (Schneider OC in Carlisle, PA), sorta started feeling better...took a load of glass to Miami...the heat did me in, deadheaded to Laurinburg, NC and went to the doc (after being sick for 3 weeks...I hate going to the doctor)...he put me out of service for 5 more days. The bad part is, by the time I went to the doc....I was already getting better on my own, LOL.

The Flu...laid around in Laurinburg for a week with this round too. (no doc)

Those are the only 2 times I've ever been really sick in the truck...hopefully they are the last 2 times too.

 

I've noticed that there have been a lot of Maverick drivers that have gotten pretty sick here lately. I wonder why that is.
