JB has a mentor program now, where folks with their own authority and LLC can lease their tractor on. So my question is: how is the pay set up? Sliding scale? Or fixed rate? How much of the fuel S/C do you get? And finally what is the website where I can keep track of the surcharge.

You mean an actual lease program and not their power only program, right?

Not sure what program you are talking about???? I have a truck with them, ICS South program, been there about 2 months and it is great. I have my own auth. and equipment. They set you up, get you a JB Hunt card, and offer various payment methods. I elected to go with their quickpay @ 1.5%-goes on the card in 24 hrs.-great, also fuel discounts with easy access to funds. Mainly drop and hook, good miles, recognize all miles, and they are in tune to fuel increases (surcharge). In short, there ICS program is a winner!!!!!!

Sounds like justice4truckers works for JB. enough spamming. If you don't know how to find good loads and are not willing to learn, then being a O/O isn't for you my friend. Last load JB brokered to me paid me $2.5/mile. So why would you take 1.5 or 1.7?
Seems like they try to reel in the new O/O who don't know how much they can and should make. you know, the same strategy they've been using for company drivers.

WHAT you mean they haven't called you 4 times this month to tell you about their great program? ... You are lucky.

Load boards buddy. and a lovely Robbinsome. then started to get some shipper direct loads. How did you know my MC is still shiny? :) I passed the 18 month mark last month

some brokers won't do business with you if you're less than 6 months or 1 year old as a company. Fortunately, Many will. They wanna move loads!

I hope you weren't being disrespectful to my successful business..

Nope don't work for JB but it's worked for my guy. Too bad it doesn't work for you. I am approved with over 50 brokers and also run direct freight, and no I personally don't power only-but if that's your game (PO)-what/where is better Mr. Carwreck. Good freight finds you hmmmm.......
