Or worse you might catch one of America's rockets in a mistaken drone attack.

To make 100k per year there, you must first live a full year there.
Then, you have to make it back.

And if you survive your first year you will probably want to make that second 100k.
    Then the 3rd, and...

Then you get taken out, but not before wondering...
Why did I ever do this in the first place?

Risk and Reward, some people have higher tolerance for risk and some people are risk averse.

    Everyone makes their own decisions.

There are no outside the wire civilian truck driving jobs in Afg. You're more likely to get food poisining or lung issues from the cesspools and burn pits than any taliban offensives.

Would you consider becoming an entry level merchant seaman? Pay is good. Entry level in deck-engineering-culinary-medical. sealiftcommand.com

Being a veteran helps. They gave me my endorsements for Ordinary Seaman & Wiper & Steward, with no tests, just showing my DD-214. They are all entry level positions.

Man I would rather go try the ice road stuff, before I would take the risk of getting my truck & me made into an instant dust cloud
Seen way too many videos of what happens when they set off an IED as your passing by
As for shooting I would be armed if I was driving over there
I wouldn't be without some type of gun
I'd even try to get my desert eagle shipped with me if I was crazy enough to go give that a try,but I'm not that big a gambler
You got better odds on the ice road then you do there
Like some have said "Dead people can't spend the $$$ they made" well I guess some can be spent on the shoe box for what might be left of you when they pick up the pieces
Look into something better within the country
