Yeah those placards coming out of the box is crap. I lost another one and made a couple of extra copies of my one good one and duct taped them all in. Luckily no scales open all the way across today for a closer inspection.

Finally got my truck out of the shop yesterday. Picked up a load on the Indy yard...delivers in Romeoville Monday morning, then pick up in Bedford Park and head for Omaha. Looks like I'll trade my unit on Wednesday and finally do orientation Thursday and Friday.

After pulling old 211659 from the back rows of forgotten trailers at Riteaid in Fairless Hills she and I are going on her final voyage to the Wabash trailer graveyard tomorrow. A nice 574 mile trip from Omaha. Stopped at the Sapp's in Peru tonight and should finish up tomorrow and likely be sent down to the Conagra plant in Lebanon.
Talked with another Crete driver that delivered to the Sygenta plant in Omaha this morning and he thought that someone just stole the placards out of the boxes instead of them blowing out (he was missing one as well). If that is the case that is a poor excuse for a trucker that would steal a person's placards. Oh well I will just make sure I put duct tape around the boxes next time to try and solve the problem one way or the other. -

Bah, sitting along the Boston waterfront. Wasn't given the necessary paperwork for the folks here to unload the truck so awaiting faxes from far away from people that won't answer the phone.

My kind of week. Dropped a retiring trailer off at the Wabash facility and got a decent load heading into Boston. Sitting at the shipper in Clinton, MA tonight and should have this load at the warehouse by Sunday night for a Monday delivery. I have only had 16 loads greater than 1000 miles since starting 7/15 but 7 of those have came since Feb. 1 so that has been nice.

I've enjoyed your posts here, just the facts about your loads at Crete. I (mostly) enjoyed my time at Crete but remember with fondness a 10 load stretch where the longest load was 2800 miles, the shortest 1500 and the average over the 10 loads was 2100. Those were good times.Lamborghini Owner Op Thanks this. -
Thanks bro. Like your quote. One of my favorite writers. Can't complain too much beyond the lack of being home more but that goes with the territory I suppose. Still looking for university positions or other options but nothing turning up so I guess I will just keep on rolling for the time being.
