I read the other week that Celadon is buying out USA Truck. I have not seen any of USA Truck lately.

 

Quite the opposite really.


Celadon Group stated this week it offered its 685,000 shares, or about 6.3% stake, of USA Truck that it obtained in October.

USa refused to meet with them and reported losses. With little to no exceptional contracts or equipment to secure they lost interest.

 

Are there anymore decent trucking jobs out here where you can gross $ 900-1000 wkly out here ?

If you have hazmat, try New ####ury Transportation. You should be able to make between 1200 and 1500 per week, but you'll babysit the qualcom, do multistop loads and work harder than you may want to. their web site is nctrans.com. I worked for them until 2006 when I had a bad accident when another truck rolled into me, so I cant say how they are today, except for what I read on the forums. When I worked there, I had lots of weeks well over 1500, but I had to work for it. I know they have suffered from the poor economy like everyone else, but some of the drivers are still claiming to make that kind of money, and I believe them. Hope this helps.
