I saw a thread here that said both Best Buy and Walmart sell a satellite dish and receiver for a truck for around $100.00 plus programming. I called both and they don't sell it anymore.
Does anyone know of a solution that would let me receive satellite television in my rig?
I know someone here has it. I've been all over the internet and can find nothing.
Thanks in advance.

I used to work for Directv. The only restrictions you will get are local stations programming, will not be available in all areas.
And you must have a home address, not a PO. Box.
Other than that, you can have Dish on your truck and a receiver.
Call Directv or visit,
http://www.satellitesinmotion.com/TV.htm <<< Some good highend equipment.
or
http://www.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/sat.htm <<<< Good info.
http://www.campingworld.com/search/index.cfm?keywords=Satellite&action=search&tcode=11 <<<<< Cheaper equipment but get's the job done.
http://www.americansatellite.com/products/DIRECTV-KVH-satellite-tv.asp <<<< All in one, but really expensive.
Hope this helped. -

If you have a laptop and a wireless card, you can get this little device called a slingbox. The slingbox connects to your cablebox, satellite receiver, tivo, and/or your dvr that you have at home, and let's you watch your own tv anywhere in the world you have a internet connection. A buddy of mine got it, it works great.
I tried to post the link, but forgot we can't..... Just do a search on walmart or bestbuy .com and you'll find it. Entry is at 129 and never any monthly fees except the internet and cable at home. -
I appreciate the infor though.
